ISI Chief summoned to India
In a development post Mumbai terror attacks, ISI Chief General Ahmed Shuja Pasha is summoned to India to help investigate the Mumbai attacks.
GEO quotes Zahid Bashir, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani’s spokesman, stating General Pasha will leave shortly to share intelligence with Indian security officials.
“Initially, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made a request to our prime minister that he should send the ISI Chief to India to help in ongoing investigations and further intelligence sharing,” he said.
“The prime minister of Pakistan responded positively and said both governments need to work out modalities for the early arrival of the ISI chief in India.”
It is beyond comprehension why ISI chief has to personally visit India. If Pakistan has any “intelligence” on Mumbai terror attacks, I am sure that can be shared without General Pasha’s personal presence in India. It seems that Pakistan’s civil government is taking our friendly relations with India to new heights, turning the ISI Chief into a lowly government employee, who is being ordered by local thanaydar for an investigation.
By the way, has government of Pakistan asked for any “Indian intelligence” when they have clear evidence of India’s role in terror activities in FATA and Balochistan?

How low can our self esteem can reach? the present govt is so friendly that detests confrontation, wants to be tagged as most friendly people in office that they dont have a clue how to protect their dignity. Is a common experience that if you keep serving a cruel mster many life time over he wouldnt quit his habbit of scolding and bashing you. Doest matter how faithful you are. The enemity and friendship is a 2-way street. Its give and take. We should decide by the fiasco India creats for us everynow and then befor making wierd requests. I am afriad that this would not oly make Insia more courageous in blaming muslims and pakistanis in future but also would soon start whippin as US. I would urge my leader sto show some dignity and respect for the nation and forget your fame in internationa media for this time. Send the cheif after india lets out water pass through their reservoirs, stop the delaying tactics in bi-lateral time wasting rhetorics aand device a wise strategy to deal with these people. tThe owrthy leader who has focussed on histiry of 2 nations will surely find out what I have talked about her.

brother Kashif has made salient and very good points….i agree completely…
but in all honesty, Pakistani authorities have played it very cool. Let the evidence come out first.
I know that this incident was by indians and not by Pakistanis. It is easy to play the blame game, as they have always done in the past.
Even hypothetically speaking — if it were Pakistanis –then it says a lot about indian security. They are claiming that they took a boat from karachi to mumbai….now how in hell can over 40 gunman come on a boat with bags of food and ammunition (and extra pistols and assault rifles)
i dont buy the hindustany myths….they are too scared and too incompetent to
a.) protect their people –even in a posh area (72 hours and the battle still ongoing)
b.) have a proper security apparatus due to their beauracracy and lack of attention to basic security measures
c.) take responsibility for the 300 militant/seperatist groups that are active in hindustan –including hindu extremist groups linked to the BJP who are capitalizing off rising tensions between hindu majority and muslim minority
lets not forget that in Srinagar (kashmir portion occupied illegally by force by hindustan) –the Muslim majority has faced repeated harassment and intimidation by indian authorities…….you reap what u sowe
we in Pakistan condemn all terrorism, as we are also a victim of it….but we will not tolerate hindustany media and people pointing their fingers at us for every one of their blunders and miseries
no way…..and we will definately not tolerate any arising threats that they may pose to our holy motherland.
better that we work together to fight terrorism.

P.M Gillani has once again acted in a very hasty and irresponsible way. There is no such example where a country sends its intel chief to help in investigation.
When Ms. Benazir Bhutto was assasinated, UK sent a team of scotland yard experts to help in investigation and not the chief of MI5 or MI6.
Pakistan should also send some security experts and leave the ISI chief to focus on his job i.e. to look after Pakistan’s security affairs.

Who the hell are they to “summon” one of our officials? When the next bomb explosion occurs in Pakistan, our government should “summon” the RAW chief.

clear evidence of India’s role in terror activities in FATA and Balochistan?
I din hear anything in india … let me make it clear. I dono xactly wt happnd at FATA n Balochistan . But don take it for granted dat india’s role was involved. Its more complicated dan dat. I’m guessing dere are some paki officials involved. Thou i’m not sure. But i’m damn sure peace n truth are the only things which can save us.

Hello people … yes .. ice awan is back ..
anyways….
The announcement of the Pakistani PM to send the ISI chief to India, is yet another example of the incompetency of our present govt. How quickly and eagerly did they agree to send the Head of the Pakistan’s Prime Intelligence Agency to India, without even thinking what can be achieved out of it. The indians without much of respect for anything that we have, Imed started blaming Pakistan for the terror attack …. Wah Wah Wah .. i wanna laugh and cry at the same time. Let me ask you all some very simple questions please.
The entire matter is a classic case study of Indian mentality. SIMPLY BLAME EVERYTHING ON PAKISTAN. That is what they have been doing in the past and that is exactly what they are doing now. …..
Coming over to our govt and their too-eager-to-please-policy.
For god’s sake, have a fricking spine….. How on earth could you agree to such a stupid proposition and that too on national TV….. even if you had agreed to it ….atleast don’t announce it as if you have done a great job here … I mean ….i was like .”OH MY GOD” .. what the hell is he talking about …. thank god Pakistan Army still has a head on its shoulders, and they imed negated the entire proposal ……
What was the requirement of the Mr President (the joke) to give an interview to Indian TV on this instance. …. and admit to their anchor that “even if it requires the ISI chief to visit India … we may even send him…..
Now that they have screwed things up …. they have started coming up with excuses …. and stories to cover up as to why the ISI chief may not go to India ……
THIS PROVES THAT WE ARE BEING GOVERNED BY IDIOTS …. TOTAL IDIOTS ..
Thank you people of handing this country in the hands of the most incompetent of all the people in the World ….
thank you ….
i applaud you all … i applaud my self …

Terrorism has strengthened its reach to many region and countries. Mumbai hotel terror act is one of most condemnable attacks. It is misbelieve that in India terrorists are aided and abated by Pakistan. ISI chief visit to India is in right direction to normalize the relations and share intelligence. We should focus on fundamental causes of terrorism and in this direction bilateral and multilateral approach of countries will prove beneficial. Hope solution will come out.

Hair Extention —- your news is obsolete.
We are NOT sending ISI Chief to hindustan due to indian behaviour following the attacks –as they are (without evidence) pointing their finger at us. İndian media is guilty of bias, total disregard for seeking the truth, and also guilty of smear-tactics when no evidence has been produced to the public.
Pakistani will NOT tolerate demands or being pushed over by hindustan. And I speak on behalf of ALL Pakistanis right here and right now.
Interestingly enough
For the fourth time, indian media has given a new name to the suspect who was caught…(the alleged Pakistani).
First it was ‘’Ajmal Amir Kamal.'’
Then it became ‘’Azam Amir Kasav.'’
Then it became ‘’Azam Ameer Qasab.'’
………….
Now the same alleged suspect is ‘”’Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman”'’……..
(according to the hindu online news)
it took them 59 hours to stabilize the situation (massive blunders). They cant even get the suspects name right –and they are already blaming Pakistan before the investigation has even properly begun.
india is just trying to hide its humiliation and incompetence. They are using this moment to smear Pakistan.
i have no respect for these people, and my sorrow for the attack has turned into a fit of rage and anger. I am ready to fight with Pakistan Army to defend my country if these hate-mongers DARE try anything stupid with us.
I am keeping a good eye on india and her actions in the next few weeks.

Muhammad Ali Saab — Salaamo Aleykum
I’m glad you like ISI and you support the Army. Pakistan FIRST, Always remember that. Put Pakistan and her interests first ALWAYS. NOTHING ELSE.
Joining ISI is a bit more complicated than walking into a building and meeting a receptionist to fill out forms.
ISI jobs are mainly offered to the people in the Armed Forces. Keep looking in the newspapers. ISI (and all relevant wings) do of course hire civilians but they get recommendations/reviews of the prospectives from the FIA.
If you do manage to get the approvals, ISI holds entery exams, just like CSS. You have to clear all the papers. When you clear all the papers & achieve their merit you are sent for medical test, which includes physical as well psychological test (which is almost ….suicide heheheh). When you pass them you are selected & sent for an army like training. After that you are a full agent.
Of course it depends on your skill whether you will limited to desk job, a spy, an investigating officer etc etc.
Simple as that. I think exams will take place in September. Start preparing now. Its not easy. Make sure:
You are a Civilian
You are a Pakistani national
You have spent much of your life in Pakistan
You are willing to sacrifice your life & assets for country
You are good at lying/bull-shitting.
Rest the ISI will inject in u itself.
The other method is via army, rangers/para-military & police. But thats tough since u 1st have to join these fields & than ur selection probability in ISI is only 0.0001% since you would be competing against the best of armymen, policmen & para-military personal. The major limitation of this method is that you would be limited to field work but you’ll get some action. Bring back couple of dead bodies home for kids to play.
Of course there are many things that matter. Your emotional and mental stability and stamina. Your ability to withstand certain ‘pressures’…..reaction time. Language skills. Comprehension skills etc. But these are very general statements I am making.
When you serve in today’s military, you learn self-discipline, earn respect, and demonstrate honor and a devotion to duty. The experience, training, and leadership skills you will get in the military are exactly what today’s employers are looking for.
You will also experience great satisfaction from knowing that you have proudly done your part in carrying on a tradition of selfless service that dates back over 60 years. Most Pakistani citizens have no idea about the value of the opportunities and experiences you can get for faithfully serving your country.
