Impeach Me
So President General (r) Pervez Musharraf is again playing sweet now. He has once again given his “esteemed” word to face the impeachment and accept the verdict of the parliament, if that goes ahead with this plan.
So much for his words and for his esteem.
We remember his promise of shedding the uniform in 2004. The promise was forced upon him in the end of 2007, when he parted with his skin-like uniform after much ado and crying.
We remember his promise of accepting the verdict of the people of Pakistan. He said before the elections of February this year, that he would step down if people would want him to do so. He never did so, and still clings to the presidency despite of all the lashing from all the sides.
So there is nothing to rejoice or believe this time too.
