If you read his book “Midnight Children”, you would come to the conclusion that it is written by a lunatic or a zombie. His book “Satanic Verses” is even more disgusting, depleted and filthy.

As soon as the book surfaced, we, the emotional Muslims across the planet, started violent protests and made Rushdi infamous (or famous in the West). This notoriety only made him a celebrity in the eyes of West, and he became a internationally recognized author in few days.

In my humble opinion, the appropriate course of action should also be literary. Muslim world is full of literary scholars. OIC should form a scholar committee, in which representation from all the Muslim countries should be present. OIC should assign it the task of critically analyzing the book and then publish their findings.

I am sure that these findings by Muslim scholars will reveal to world the ignorance and mal-intentions of Salman Rushdi to the world. Now if British Government has given him the title of “Sir”, then what the hell? Is there any importance of this title “Sir” for us? Haven’t we experienced these “Sirs” for nearly half a century? Aren’t we suffering from these “Sirs” even now?

I mean, why should we pay any attention to the issue of British government giving third-rate writer their award? We shouldn’t waste our resources in protesting and we also shouldn’t damage our property. Nothing useful would come out of it. The best course of action is to give the response in a literary fashion.
