Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Hypocrisy of Saudi Arabia

If you visit Saudi Arabia you will notice that on certain posters and ads the face has either been torn or blackened. This comes under the prohibition of animate pictures. But then, why do the King’s pictures adorn offices and hallways? Why is the King’s picture found on Saudi Bills?

Saudi Arabia also forces women to wear a Burka that covers the face. At the same time, they have their own channels that show non-covering women. Is it haram to look at a women on the street but somehow becomes okay if you view them on T.V.?

Somehow, Islam does not apply to Saudi Arabia. It only applies to the common man. The hypocrisy of Saudi Arabia is amazing and at the same time, disgusting.

They don’t seem to know that Islam is the same for everyone and rulings in Islam apply to everyone equally.
