Highlights of the Long March
The Long March of Pakistan that started on March 12 from Karachi and Quetta, ended somewhere between Lahore and Islamabad on March 16, 2009. As predicted by leaders of political parties and Lawyers’ movement, government gave in before Long March reached Rawalpindi and Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, along with other disposed judges, were restored through an announcement by Prime Minister.
