Here we go again…
It started off with sacking chief justice. Then Lal Masjid saga, then this constitutional warfare. Cases keep pouring in supreme court and every time, we wait with palm on heart, for court’s verdict.
This nation has been forced to grow mature in just six months. Families now switch on to Hamid Mir or Talat Hussain instead of soaps and plays. They start mornings with studying morning headlines and consuming newspapers to make sense of the constitutional warfare. Geo has become our ‘home’ channel, facebook and msn nicks are updated with the latest unpleasant occurrences. Everybody seems to have an opinion and discussions continue at workplaces. No wonder we are breathing in a politically-charged air.
Only if our politicians had shown some maturity…
