Headless PDA
After the hopeless talks and the rounds of committees and intensively useless marathon meetings across the world from Murree to Dubai to London to Lahore, where the result was zilch, both Mian Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari find themselves bit out of touch, and seems to be wondering in despair.
Asif Ali Zardari has totally gone at the mercy of the dictatorial regime and he is the prisoner of NRO, and doesn’t have his own will, and his Prime Minister is also very pale and shallow and cannot play any active role, and that is why PDA is just yet another tasteless experience like the formation of PML-Q by our dictator.
There is nothing right now PDA partners could do. The ANP is just interested in its rule, and showing expediency, and its head is making tours to America and Sweden. The JUI-F is there to mole in to PDA for Musharraf, and PPP and PML-N are at loggerheads.
PML-Q has got a new life, and Chaudharies of Gujrat are once again very active, while Hamid Nasir Chattha hopes have dashed. Now battleground is Punjab.
