Haunting Memories of My Teenage!

“Ignorance, intolerance, egotism, self-assertion, opaque perception, dense and pitiful chuckle headedness - and an almost pathetic unconsciousness of it all, that is what I was at nineteen and twenty”. This beautiful quotation was said by Mark Twain about teenage. It really sums up what teenage is all about. This is the most beautiful time of our life as we act most passionately and don’t care for anything. Now after passing my teenage, when I look back and recall my memory, I always wonder that how quickly good time passes. No doubt good memories are always cherishing but when we talk about memories of teenage then definitely they become spicier and sweeter because teenage is the most enthusiastic and zealous time of our life.

Pleasure, happiness, dreams, careless attitude, anxiousness, courage, achievements, friends, family, hanging out, studies and passion__ this is what I remember about my teenage. Literally speaking, I had a very beautiful time during my teenage. For me, my every teenage day is memorable but when I talk about specific memories of teenage then they relate to my success and achievements. Who does not like to succeed and win? Of course, every one likes to be at the top and when anyone achieves any success then those moments capture his mind forever.

Thanks to Allah, I achieved a number of successes during my teenage but let me integrate two major achievements of mine which make the best memories of my teenage.

I am very studious and intelligent by the grace of God and when it comes to the studies then nothing is important for me than to top my exams. In addition to it, I am very active in co-curricular activities. I am a very good speaker and a perfect player of badminton.

On the basis of my academic record, co-curricular activities, friendly relations with students and voting by teachers, I was made the PREFECT ACADEMICS of my school in 10th grade in Army Public School and College Gilgit Cantt, 2001. I still remember that day, the way I got shocked when my name was announced, the way I took the oath and the manner in which every one clapped and congratulated me.

Then we were posted to Sargodha where I passed my HSSC exam from Army Public School and College Sargodha Cantt. Again, on the basis of my overall record, I was made the HEAD GIRL of my college. Oh my God! How glorious, distinguished and significant moments were they. Actually the way I got importance and prominence made my moments memorable and cherishing forever.

Of course, there were a number of other beautiful times too. For example: when I was made the Girl Of The Day on my farewell party of 10th grade, the day I topped my HSSC exam, when me and my pals used to hang out and laugh without any reason, the way we used to play in rain, the very first time I cooked myself and all the good days at school and college campus. No doubt, every moment of teenage is memorable but two best memories which I wrote above have captured my mind fully.

Mao Tse-Tung once said, “You young people, full of vigour and vitality, are in the bloom of life, like the sun at eight or nine in the morning”. This is a reality; the passion and energy we have during teenage can never be afterwards. So this is the best time for us to utilize our energies and passion to get something. Thanks God! I got all the opportunities during my teenage which paved a way towards my journey of success. I can never forget my teenage specially these best moments. I will always cherish them and they will haunt my memory forever.
