Gilani Returns Numb
As the Pakistani premier Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has left America and has come to Colombo through England, he has passed through ages of experiences and he must be ruing his own words in which he so smugly said that there was very little distance between the Prime Minister house and the Adyala jail.
Botched, visionless and pathetic visit to the America, and the ongoing skirmishes in the FATA and Swat areas of NWFP of Pakistan, and the breaking coalition and the tussle from within the cadres of his own party has left him numb and he has got left with very little options.
He might be directed towards leaving the ill capacity leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and might turn towards once again the forces of status quo, but the thing which is emerging is that he has failed miserably to catch the attention of the US hawks and doves alike, and nobody is taking him seriously.
Perhaps that was what the Zardari and Musharraf wanted after all.

Gilani is also “dumb”! He should give up politics and retire to his native place where he can be a “peer”.
