Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Elusive Package

As the fake wrestling between the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari and chairman of PML-Q General (r) Pervez Musharraf is going on and the both sides have taken very “strict” and very tough notices of each other statements and it seems that now Zardari is backtracking, as he didn’t utter any word against Musharraf during his speech in SAFMA.

Now in the Central Executive Committee meeting of PPP, Farhatullah Babar has gone to hospital and Asif Ali Zaradari is producing the 62-point constitutional package from his Pandora Box, and he is still insisting on changing the system while keeping the Musharraf and PCO judges intact.

The deal with the President has already been struck, and though the new so-called constitutional package talks about abolishing 58(2)B, but in practice it won’t be touch on different pretexts. The law minister Farooq H. Naek is the new pigeon in the politics of Pakistan but he know how to circumvent the aspiration of the people of Pakistan.

Pakistani people just want their justice back and they want to get rid of Musharraf. Constitutional package or no constitutional package, they want Musharraf out.
