Drones Again in FATA
Makeen is the place where normally Baitullah Mehsud is found along with his armed supporters. Mehsud tribe and the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) led by Baitullah Mehsud roam this area, and they have right now engaged in having a peace accord with the Awami National Party (ANP) government in Balochistan.
These peace efforts and the peace accords are not well liked by the NATO forces and the policy makers in the Pentagon, and hence they are trying their utmost to derail these efforts, and for that they are not budging in an inch to allow some respite. They are not even now inching back from killing the Pakistani security officials, and they are out there to eliminate the Talibans.
In an recent attack in Makeen, three missiles were fired by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at houses in Makeen town in South Waziristan Agency (SWA) on yesterday night but details about the casualties weren’t immediately available but it is expected that the death toll would be high.
Now these Talibans would attack on the Pakistani security forces as a revenge as they cannot do anything about the US forces and their drones. So basically what US is doing is igniting and exploiting the FATA people against Pakistan.
Has Pakistan got any answer for that?
