Don’t Care
Do you think that you are “Khudai Foojdar” and you have the onus of the whole world on your shoulders? Do you behave as though you are the centre of the universe? Do you feel that home or office cannot just run without you? You are dead wrong. Take a break, just vanish in the thin year, and then come back after a while and you will see that you were not really missed.
Come on. Take it easy. Don’t burn yourself for the hectic routines of life. Don’t consider that you are inevitable and nothing would work without you. World carries on, you and I just come and go. Your approach of always try to be at the helm of affairs is not reasonable. What this often means is that you think you are responsible for taking care of everybody and fixing their complications and/or problems.
This approach may earn you applause and keep you busy and the focal point of attention, and you might be able to get some short term financial benefits, but in the long run, this will suck you out. Your all-in-all approach may earn you the title of a great problem solver, but it will also make you an easily-cajoled person too.
One of the negatives to this situation is that everybody knows that you are good at problem solving and therefore leaves most things up to you because you are very efficient at solving stressful or negative situations. Then everyone will start leaving their yuck-ups to you, and very soon you will find that you have become good-for-nothing-but-problems man and you have no time for yourself because of the stress and tension of solving other people’s problems.
You will also then try to work even more harder for others just to save your reputation and impression, which will also negatively affect your health and life. And when you will be tired of solving other’s problems and you wont be able to do the problem solving, then you will painfully discover that nobody really cares about you, and people don’t really need you for their solutions, and you were just a tissue paper.
So first love and care yourself, and then pay attention to others. This way your life would be much better and fruitful, and this is the best way to help others. Help Yourself.
