Doctors in the West who say Masturbation is Good for Health

Doctors in the West say that there is no harm in masturbation, rather it is a natural act. To prove that it is natural, they give examples of some animals like monkeys. Actually they represent those who have gone to the other extreme of sexual morality. They have degraded human beings to the level of animals, and then justify their deeds by finding examples in the animal world.

Other doctors say that masturbation is just like normal sexual intercourse, rather even better because you are the master of yourself, you don’t have to worry about your partner’s feelings! This is an example of how low the materialist society has sunk into its self-centered and selfish attitude that even in sex it prefers to seek self-gratification with the exclusion of the spouse. They seem to forget that in sexual intercourse all the senses contribute to the stimulation and orgasm: Man and woman see their partner, touch each other, say endearing words to each other and hear the stimulating sounds; and even the senses of smell and taste are utilized. And the penetration of male organ into the female leads to the final excitement and orgasm. But in masturbation the only source of stimulation is imagination, in which no other sense takes any part. The whole burden is loaded upon the mind; and, as a result, while normal sexual intercourse causes happiness and joy, masturbation creates emotional and psychological depression.

Yes but people only masturbate in the West when their wives or partners are not there. On the other hand in Pakistan ( and I am sure most Muslim countries) people masturbate more often than they have sex with their wives…

In Pakistan, because of people like Mullah Yusha, men don’t masturbate but go to prostitues when their wives are sick or not available.

Good for you, Azhar! Don’t feel guilty about it, and don’t listen to people like Mulla Yusha, and you’ll be sexually active until you’re 80!

I used to do it a lot and now i am paying the price after marriage. I cannot control my orgasm. I cum prematurely. I would recommend not to do it if you want to succeed in your marital life in the true sense.

Salman, since you’ve brought Islam into the discussion, please read the complete works of Imam Bukhari to increase your knowledge of the subject.

Where in Sahih Bukhari does it say that it is okay? We don’t need to go into hadith to know whether it is haram or not. Anyone who has ever done it knows how spiritually drained he feels. I can give a number of hadith indicating it is haram but I think it is more important that a person concentrates on how he feels afterwards spiritually. There will be no need to debate with hadith. The case with music and T.V. is similar. Just see how you feel afterwards. No need to go into hadith everytime.

it is not allowed. period and please end this stupid discussion. We ned the refernce where self eroticism is allowed…please dont state smaller evul and bigger eviol since its all evil and people who think in terms of quality of evil thats is always comparative end up committing greater immorality since its creeps thru their soul and as the are accustomed to lesser.. so the lesser paves way for greater and then their is not coming back since all evil is addictive.
