Creative Teaching
A good teacher can teach anything. A good writer can write about anything. The method of expression is vital. The layout is critical. In the thrill of writing minutia we lose the ecstasy actually teaching somebody something. Only 7% of oral communication is the actual words, the remainder is tonality and body language.
We aren’t skilled or particularly creative teachers, so we’re pretty damn certain that if it’s not our teaching ability, it must be that the science behind the format does exactly what it’s supposed to do–make learning more effective. We’re the implementors, not the innovators.
So how can one teach through blog? I know it happens from time to time. You sit and write in your journal and just churn out the most banal rubbish ever, day after day. Blah days can dishearten even the most dedicated journal writer. I believe there is still value in writing any old thing in your journal. Not only does it help clear your mind, but it gives you a place to be. A space to fill. A moment to pause. A place to accept who you are, for the good and bad parts of your personality. But I reckon that the most important thing you should strive for in your blog is to try to teach something or tell something to others.

Good Piece. A little open-ended, but to the point.
