Coalition Must Activate or….

The recent joint conference of the coalition partners of PDA including PPP, PML-N and JUI-F in the presence of the top military officials, including Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq has given little hope to the unlucky people, who have long left believing in the promises of the rulers.

The joint meeting was first carried out between the political leaders before they took briefing from the army officials, and in this meeting nothing usual came out, and then just a debate and discussion was carried out in the presence of the military men, and there was nothing discussed about the judges restoration and the impeachment of General (r) Pervez Musharraf.

It is hundred percent true and appropriate that all the political stakeholder sit, join their heads and come up with some coordinated strategy regarding war on terror, but there also are other issues still pending and asking for immediate resolution. Certainly, there is a need for all the coalition partners to be fully aware of the situation, given the threat of intervention of the ISAF forces from our Western borders, but then domestic issues are as important.

Magnitude of the problems asks for more importance and engagement.
