Cabinet meeting was underway. ADC came near Quaid-e-Azam and asked, “Sir, shall we serve coffee or tea”? Quaid-e-Azam became stunned, and said sternly, “These people haven’t come here after taking their tea or coffee from their homes”? ADC went bonkers. Quaid-e-Azam continued his talk and said,”Any minister who wants a coffee or tea, should go back to his home and take whatever he wants, the money of nation is for the nation and not at all for the ministers.” After this order, until he remained in rule, only drinking water was served in the cabinet meeting.

On 14th August, 1947 when billions of Muslims snatched their homeland from British and Hindus, all the dreams were about freedom, independence and the foundation of state which will be sovereign in its decisions and policies.
Over the years what has crudely been exposed are the fake claims of our sovereignty that our rulers harangue about at every forum at any given time. These gaping limits show our vulnerability to external dictates and inability to adopt and independent position on even internal issues. Notorious telephone calls by US-authorities to Pakistani authorities demanding a particular alteration in policies and decisions are an open secret. They have been the defining points of US-Pakistan “strategic” relationships.

Aristotle was the Greek philosopher, logician, thinker and a scientist. He was a true representative of the realist school of philosophy. He was the author of an intellectual system that supported and begin medium for medieval Christian and Islamic philosophy. As a thinker he laid the foundations imperial science and speculative thought. The concepts of biogenesis and abiogenesis in the biology have been introduced by him.
Aristotle believed that emotions can cause physical distress if they are not provided a safe outlet. For poetry he said that human nature is the general origin of the poetry. He has rendered the whole mankind as basing on the line between virtue and vice. For this he says that ‘objects are actions with agents either good men or bad’.

In the beloved country, though, nation is suffering from myriad problems, from poverty and un-employment to bomb blasts and suicide attacks, from load-shedding and natural disasters to kidnapping and lawlessness, from conspiracies of India to threats of America, but nation is still rock solid at the core.
The core is rock solid is because the core is Islam. We are a nation of Islam, we got our country in the name of Islam. We always have been aspiring to implement the true code of life, which is Islam, here. We always want to have peace, progress and love flowing across and beyond our borders. We always have been wishing to stand up at our feet. Rule-out the foreign dictation, refuse the humiliating aids, contribute to the world peace and progress with equal standing.

It is said that history is the best teacher. As history usually repeats itself, one should always consult history to get ready for the future.
In Pakistan we debate on steps taken by the government after 9/11. Was Musharraf correct in accepting US terms? What if he had resisted? What would be the worst scenario in that case? Would it be worst than current situation?
On 2 August 1914, the day before Germany declared war on France, the German government wrote to the Belgian government demanding the right of free passage across Belgium for its troops, so that the Germans could most efficiently invade France and reach Paris.
