Bhurban Declaration Modified
The straight forward thing is that there was no mention of any bloody committee for the restoration of deposed judges including chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary in the Murree or Bhurban Declaration. Now on the insistence of Asif Ali Zardari, the Pakistan Democratic Alliance partner PML-N has forcibly agreed to have formulated the committee.
This is needless and another delaying tactic from Pakistan People’s Party. PPP and PML-N are recurrently affirming that the judges would be restored and nation would hear good news soon. According to them they are committed to the cause of reinstatement of judges, but the nation is apprehensive due to the dual policies of PPP.
In the presence of NRO, abolishment of BA degree to contest elections, Asif Ali Zardari is finding it hard to restore the judiciary and he is trying hard to cajole the nation and the Nawaz Sharif, but he must know that the people who gave him this respect could also take it back.
