American army has once again said that the threat of Al-Qaeda is graver than ever, and they are getting organized once again in the tribal region of Pakistan, which borders with Afghanistan. Americans haven’t really approved of the agreement between Pakistani government and the council of tribal leaders in FATA. Now they are saying that this FATA region has become a safe heaven for the Al-Qaeda militants.

American forces are themselves confused on this issue. The truth is they don’t really know for sure that Osama Bin Ladin and his closed companions are alive or not. True or false, there are reports in world media that there is a very strong possibility that Osama and his companions have been killed in the mountains of Tora Bora in Afghanistan by the carpet bombing of US forces. Pakistani forces are themselves doing a wide range search operation in the South and
North Waziristan region of Pakistan with full might and power and they haven’t found a single clue about Osama. All those satellites and spy planes of US are unable to tell any serious evidence about the whereabouts of Osama in Pakistan. They why this talk about re-organization of Osama in Pakistani area?

If that is the case, then it means that US forces are wasting the money of their taxpayers for many years, as years of attacks and with the support of NATO forces, they are still unable to catch Osama. Its a very spectacular case of in-competency of US administration. The thing is that their approach is wrong. They have got to win this so-called war on terrorism not through arms but through dialogue and through understanding. There needs to be an “International Consensus” over this.

But there are also people like Benazir Bhutto who are ready to do anything to come into the power in Pakistan. She has recently in her statements in Washington has said many a times that she would allow American forces attack anywhere in Pakistan. I mean, just think about it. Have you heard any politician of any country saying other nations to help her to come into power, so that she could allow them to attack her country? Its a national crime, and its not what people of Pakistan want. Pakistanis have suffered through suicide attacks and bomb blasts and they know what its all about, whereas Benazir is enjoying the money she plundered from Pakistan when she was in power. She doesn’t know a damn about the ground realities in Pakistan, and she would only increase the resentment against US in Pakistan.
