Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Balochistan’s Demands by new CM

Balochistan is the biggest province of Pakistan and the biggest negligence of all time. Once again, in the Balochistan Assembly, a procession of ministers is in the offing with no opposition at all. Everyone is rallying hard to be the part of the government, because they know that power is the name of the game.

Now the nominated chief minister of Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani has said that they would start talking with the Balochistan Liberation Army and government of Pakistan should formulate a new constitution from the ground-up in the light of the resolution of 1940. He has also demanded that the military operation must be terminated in the province to render relief to the common people of this great province.

The demands of Balochistan, spelled out by the new chief minister are not new and they are not unjustified. These are the demands which have always been uttered by the members of the Balochistan, but they never really tried to convert their words into actions.

Now as the PPP has got power in the province and also in the center, they have no excuse to not to implement their demands.
