Amin Fahim Dwindling
The argument that Pakistan People’s Party would get a massive support from the Punjab province if it nominates someone from this most populous province of Pakistan, then it’s a very ludicrous argument.
Punjabi vote bank is not like that. In the rural area, they only go for their biradaries, and in the urban areas the vote bank is on the ideas and notion base. Punjabi voter, especially in the urban areas is not nationalistic and the PPP vote bank in Punjab is very good and there would be no harm if Asif Ali Zardari nominates someone from Sindh to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Makhdoom Amin Fahim has gone virtually out of the premiership and he is trying his last efforts to convince or threaten Asif Ali Zardari of the consequences of not nominating him Prime Minister. Asif Ali Zardari now wants to nominate Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar for the PM as a temporary Prime Minister and then he wants to become PM himself.
Makhdoom Amin Fahim should also read the writing on the wall, and he should accept the destiny and try to grab some other important slot in the coalition government.

Would Amin Fahim have challenged Benazir the way he is standing up to Zardari? Maybe he knows something the rest of us don’t.
