Allah’s Curse on Grave Worship
When they congregate at the grave of a saint, they stand there like statues expressing great humility and veneration. In fact, the humility and reverence which they display at the graves of the saints are never shown in the mosque when they have to pray to Allah Ta’ala.
At the graves of the saints they indulge in a variety of acts of shirk and kufr. They do sajdah to the graves and they do tawaaf around it. But, according to Islam, sajdah is to be rendered exclusively to Allah Ta’ala and tawaaf exclusively to the Holy Ka’bah. They burn incense at the graves and they adorn the graves with lamps and lights in open violation of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam’s) prohibition to do so.
Grave-worship is not a new cult. It came into being after the age of Nooh A.S. Even the Christians and the Jews practiced grave-worship, hence Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Allah cursed the Yahood and the Nasaara because they converted the graves of their Prophets into places of worship.”
This hadith as well as other narrations inform us that Allah’s curse settles on the cult of grave-worship. Muslims should, therefore, never be misled by the false slogans raised by the grave-worshipers. Participation, in the activities of the grave-worship cult raises the curse of Allah Ta’ala according to the explicit statement of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
The members of the grave-worship sect loudly proclaim their “love” for Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), but they ignore his condemnation of grave-worship.
On one occasion, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: `O Allah! Do not let my grave become an idol which will be worshiped.”
When even worshiping the grave of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is prohibited, then by what stretch of imagination can the worshiping of the graves of the saints be allowed?

Yusha says: “ANSWER MY QUESTION”
Oh My God. Are you serious? why aren’t you answering ANY of my points i have raised about NUMEROUS posts of yours? they must number almost 10 by now, and you haven’t answered EVEN ONE OF THEM! Whereas I always give a CRUSHING response to EVERY ONE of your points. It rolls off your back like water off a duck, since you dont care about the truth, but I still answer, for the benefit of the readers, (I’m sure everyone is wondering why the great know-it-all Yusha, can’t respond to some simple points, even after repeated prompts to do so)
Yusha says: “As always you avoided my question and started talking about something else. Sorry buddy, either answer my question or admit going to graves is a bidat.”
One thing you will all notice about Yusha, he copies me (his command of the english language, semantics, sentence structure, etc isn’t as strong as mine, so as much as he might hate it, he’s learning from me LOOOOOL!)
-I started saying :”LOL”, you will notice, soon afterwards, he started to say “LOL” as well. Only when he does it, it sound so….fake.
-In the above, he is challenging me to answer or admit mistake. The readers will notice, i first put this type of challenge to HIM, (”answer the points, or if you dont’ want to then if you have any honour, admit your mistake”).
Needless to say, neither has he answered ANY of the points, nor has he any honour to admit his mistake(s) (Yusha? Honour? LOL) Now hes trying to put me on the defensive by challenging me with my own challenge to him! But never fear, I shall not back down, since I, unlike this ignoramus, actually know what i’m talking about and have answers ready.
But nice try Yusha. Just like you shamelessly tried to drop a hint to the moderator to delete shakir’s comment, and tried to tell me to stop posting. Not happening buddy. You shall be exposed every time you try to mislead.

One more thing, the issue of going to “dead” saints. What impudence! How dare you say that the wali of Allah is dead??!!! It is a matter of Islamic belief that a shaheed is alive, in a physical way so much so that he/she still needs food and drink. there is no dispute on this point, even deobandis and wahhabis dont dare disagree. People should know, the wali of Allah is the highest grade among ALL creations, except for prophets, and sahabas of RasulAllah SAW. Allah and His Rasul grade them as such: (1)Al-Nabiyeen (2) Was Sidiqeen (3) Wash Shuhadaa (4) Was Saliheen.
1 are the prophets, #3 are the shuhadaa, the martyrs, #4 are the general pious believers, and that leaves #2, who are the saints, walis, the ones who practiced the “greater jihad”, jihad-un-nafs. Are you telling me that the shaheeds are alive, but the saints aren’t? Doesn’t RasulAllah SAW say, the difference between the one who does zikr and the one who doesn’t is like the difference between the LIVING AND THE DEAD”? I know Yusha is too stupid to understand, but for those who care to ponder, there is a secret being revealed here. The Walis get to their spiritual station thru doing excessive zikr, thats what sufis are famous for.
The principle is clear, one can ask, theoritically, thru the wasila of anyone of Allah’s friends. And the belief is that Allah’s friends are alive in their graves, (more alive than the majority of us “dead” ones who are deprived of doing zikr like its supposed to be done, continuously), they were His friends in this temporary life, and they are continuing to be His intimate friends, now that they are in the “Real” life, and they can hear us, and Allah loved them, and loves them now, and if you ask Allah in their name, Allah is more likely to give you in honor of His friend thru whom you are asking. No matter how badly Yusha and his like desperately wish, NO ONE believes that the Wali of Allah is the one giving, Allah gives. where is the shirk?
And this “theory” has been tested time and time and time again, by practical experience of COUNTLESS muslims throughout the last 1400+ years, and also the theory has been held as sound and proper by exoteric religious scholars as well as esoteric spiritual leaders. It is only with the birth of the human shayateen, the wahabbis, and their little brothers the deobandis (like you), about only 150 years ago (out of 1400 years), that this issue has even become controversial. Again, its not actually disputed by any sunni scholars (or even shia actually), only non-sunni sects like wahhabi/deobandi, etc have misled a few people here and there with this idiotic, simplistic, and ultimately DEAD WRONG “ideas”.

Yusha said: “Tell me from Quran and Hadith, where does it say that if you want something from Allah instead of dua go visit some grave”
I already ansered this question. But i didn’t realize just how ridiculously pea-sized your deobandi brain is, and you dont understand inference (I know you’re reaching for your dictionary right now, LOL) So I will break it down for you (yet again).
The tradition I mentioned about doing darood before and after dua, or your dua will not be answered, was meant to illustrate the point, that one needs intermediary between him and Allah. In this particular example, the intermediary is RasulAllah SAW. You can ask Allah SWT thru the intermediary of any of his lovers and friends (awliya karam). In fact, its one of the adab of duas, to ask Allah SWT thru the wasila of one of His loving friends. If you are at the grave of some pious friend of Allah, you may ask Allah SWT thru the wasila of that particular friend of Allah. I was establishing that one needs to make dua thru the wasila of one of Allah’s lovers.
Next, the tradition i metioned about Hazrat Abbas RA was in case some idiot (hint hint) decided to say, “well, the tradition says to say darood on RasulAllah SAW. wheres the proof in Quran and SUNNAH (sunnah, not hadith, you ignoramus), that you can ask thru anyone other than RasulAllah SAW?”?
Well, the Hazrat Abbas RA tradition was to close that door before someone (hint hint) opened it. The principle being established here is that the wasila doesn’t have to be thru RasulAllah SAW, alone, but can be any of Allah’s loving friends. Do you understand now?

It is true that a person should read darood sharif before dua but don’t start taking about the adaab of dua again. ANSWER MY QUESTION.
July 31st, 2008 17:21 GMT
LOL.. why did you give me an example of Hazrat Abbas. He was ALIVE at that time. Also, why are you taking about dua. LOL.. who is taking about dua.
As always you avoided my question and started talking about something else. Sorry buddy, either answer my question or admit going to graves is a bidat.
Let me type the question again
Tell me from Quran and Hadith, where does it say that if you want something from Allah instead of dua go visit some grave.

The principle of asking Allah SWT thru the wasila or intermediary of someone close to Allah SWT is not even controversial among muslims, that is, until the human shayateen the wahhabis, and their little brothers the deobandis appeard on the scene about 150 years ago.
Some examples: (none of this is verbatim, I’m just going from memory, i’m sure there are even better examples to prove the point)
1) If you make dua, you must first send darood upon RasulAllah SAW or your dua stays between heaven and earth. Reported by Umar RA and others. Now I ask you to think, why? you ask Allah SWT for something, and he wont listen or respond unless you first send darood upon His beloved SAW. Its because we dont deserve a response, in fact, we deserve destruction. But we entreat Allah SWT to accept our dua due to His love for RasulAllah SAW, or one of His walis, etc. in hopes that by asking Him thus, we might get our dua answered. As mentioned in the above hadith, your dua doesn’t even reach Allah SWT (figurativley speaking of course) until you first send darood upon Muhammad SAW.
example 2: There was once a drought in madina munawarra, during the time of Hazrat Umar RA khalifate. Hazrat Umar RA gathered the people outside madina and summoned Hazrat Abbas, the uncle of RasulAllah SAW. Then in front of everyone, he (Umar RA) made dua to Allah SWT to make it rain to due to the presence of Abbas, the uncle of RasulAllah SAW. It is reported that it started to rain soon thereafter.
The point of the above example is in case someone says, well do darood upon RasulAllah SAW, sure, but why ask Allah SWT thru anyone else? Well, the above is proof according Sunnah. In addition to all this, we also have direct, personal experience of the previous 1400+ years.
Can you make sajdah to a grave? No. Tawaf? No. Do people do it? yes, they don’t know better. But they do not become kafir. It takes a lot to become a kafir. If you believe in Allah as One, and RasulAllah as His last messenger, and you believe in the last day, its very hard to call you anything but a muslim.
July 28th, 2008 18:07 GMT
you seem to ignore what you don’t like or should i say what your ego does not accept. People do sajdah to those graves. That alone is shirk. There are many other rituals of kufr and shirk that go with visiting graves.
Listen, next time you want something ask Allah in dua, you don’t have to visit a grave.
Prophet Mohammad told his companions on many occasions to ask Allah in dua.
Now tell me from Quran and Hadith, where does it say that if you want something from Allah instead of dua go visit some grave.
