Act Now Swiftly
Now as the President Musharraf has called the special session of National Assembly to select the next Prime Minister of Pakistan and the election of speaker and deputy speaker has completed, it’s time that President House should stop it’s suspicious machinations to undermine the new government and it’s about time for the coalition government to put forward their plan of action.
Both Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif has told us enough rhetoric and now it’s time they deliver. Already the delay is enormous after the elections, and though it was primarily due to the President Musharraf who still hasn’t allowed the sessions of provincial assemblies, but the onus also lies with the leadership of PPP, which has remained wishy washy over the issue of Prime Minister nomination.
Country is facing enormous challenges and nation is waiting for the new leadership of new regime to step up and face and resolve the issues. The nation has tolerated the delay in the formation of new government but it would hardly tolerate any inaction in the solution of the problems faced by country right now.
