Abu Laith Al Libi has been allegedly killed by a missile attack by United States in the FATA area of Pakistan, though Pakistanis authorities are denying it, while US papers are endorsing it. To hell with this Laith guy and the US, we are fed up of this hellish theatrics by both the parties, or are they the same?

American Admiral Michael Glenn Mullen, who is also the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, who plans to visit Pakistan later this month for talks with the new army chief is making the matters more secretive un necessarily by saying, “I’m not going to talk any more about the operational side of this, of how that in fact occurred.”

This Abu Laith Al Libi is said to be number 3 of Al-Qaeda. After the 9/11, US forces have killed at least 7 or 8 number threes and they are apparently not denting anything. After every number 3 killing they claim that Al-Qaeda has suffered a huge setback, and its back is broken.

There is also a debate going on who killed the man, as nobody “knows” it. Military spokesman Maj-Gen Athar Abbas is also clueless about it. “Our position is that who fired, who ordered, who removed the bodies etc is not known to us,” he said. “We cannot negate nor confirm because the moment it happened, they removed the bodies and buried them. So, how would anybody confirm who got killed?” he added.

United States is just as clueless about the happenings as anybody. It’s time they end this bloody charade, and start a political solution to a political problem, and they should stop deceiving us in the name of Al-Qaeda.
